Mike Collier
joined in 1991 and is one of our regular tow pilots. Mike is the owner of a Bellanca Viking:

David Cousins

Chris Eaves
joined as a tow pilot in 1974 and soloed with the club that year. Chris has also been active in Competition Soaring. He is an A.M.E. and the owner/operator of XU Aviation and does an excellent job of looking after our club aircraft.

Sue Eaves
Sue started gliding in the U.K. and has been a member of London Soaring for many years. She holds a Canadian Feminine Soaring distance record of 509 kms

Tom Grayson
Tom Grayson was a club member for many years and re-joined London Soaring in 2006. Tom is shown in front of a Schweizer 1-26 (C-FZDQ) which is the first single-place ship he flew. Tom is the club’s Chief Flying Instructor and flies a Schreder RS-15 (C-GPKH):

Alex Hislop
Alex Hislop joined the club in 2007 and is one of our enthusiastic young members. He completed his first solo flight at the age of 14 on August 31st, 2008! Alex has completed his Private Pilots Licence and is now one of the club tow pilots.

Don Lamont
Started in power flying and then gliding. He joined the club in 1991 and has been one of our most active flying members.

Michael Luckham
Michael joined the club and soloed in 2007, achieved his glider pilot license in 2009, and is currently working towards cross-country flights and qualifying for back-seat flying in the L23. Mike is a Director/Secretary for the club, and is the go-to guy for radio help

Chuck McGee
